Speaker Spotlight: Dr. Nicole Forsgren

By IT Revolution

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be highlighting a few keynote speakers who have contributed tremendously to the DevOps Enterprise Summit over the last four years.

We’ve been honored to learn and grow with each of these individuals through their transformation journeys, and we’re excited to be welcoming them all back to DOES18 in London.

Dr. Forsgren is the CEO & Chief Scientist at DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA) and has made it her mission to show leaders how to unlock the potential of technological change in their organizations.

At the DevOps Enterprise Summit, we’ve had the opportunity to hear from Dr. Forsgren on four separate occasions, and learn about how the state of DevOps as it has evolved over the years.

In 2014, Dr. Forsgren joined us at our first conference in San Francisco. In her speech “DevOps and the Bottom Line,” she shared with us the link between DevOps and organizational performance that were found in the findings of our early DevOps surveys, as well as an outline of the desired outcomes for the years to come.

Next in 2015, she joined us again to present what the latest research had to say about uncovering what really drives business outcomes of market share, profitability, and productivity, etc.

Finally in 2017, Dr. Forsgren came to London and San Francisco to share “The Key to High Performance—What the Data Says” during which she shares insights into the key leadership, technical, architectural, and product capabilities that drive these outcomes, drawn from the past five years of the State of DevOps Reports.

We’re so excited to hear from Dr. Forsgren again in London in just a few weeks, where she’ll discuss what the State of DevOps report has shown about how high-performing IT teams decisively outperform low-performing peers.

Come hear her live by joining us for the 2018 DevOps Enterprise Summit in London.
