Anonymous Feb 3, 2025 10:43 amThat's a great article! I'm currently struggling with WM notation. Say, I have a product X component and I want to "reinvent" with new Y (version of the thing) so I thought I'll put a new "version" of the component into Genesis lane and simply use "evolution" arrow. However, when I look at some notation guidelines or even online tool (as a code) the evolution is allowed only from left to right and only horizontally. Does it mean that WM assumes that an "innovative" version of a component Y is not its evolution? Does it mean it's a new component that ... hmm ... what? depends on old X? Any suggestions?here is an example: https://onlinewardleymaps.com/#ecPtdfhfPMZdokmQyCRegards M Reply
Anonymous Dec 25, 2023 11:30 amHi David thx for a great article. I wanted to learn about the concept of a pipeline in Wardley Mapping, and your article provided an answer. If you can elaborate on the story telling aspect that you mention, that would be very helpful. Reply
Philippe Bourgeon Sep 5, 2022 7:48 amReally nice and clear summary. I read and tried Wardley maps a while ago and I found this approach very interesting. I did this experiment while I was reading the book of Simon Wardley on medium: https://medium.com/wardleymaps/on-being-lost-2ef5f05eb1ec Reply
