Over the coming weeks, we’ll be highlighting a few keynote speakers who have contributed tremendously to the DevOps Enterprise Summit over the last four years.
We’ve been honored to learn and grow with each of these individuals through their transformation journeys, and we’re excited to be welcoming them all back to DOES18 in London.
Looking back over the DevOps transformations we’ve heard about in the past four years at DevOps Enterprise Summit, the work done by Tapabrata “Topo” Pal, Sr. Engineering Fellow, and his team at Capital One, is truly inspiring.
In his five years at Capital One, Topo has been a primary force in directing them through their DevOps transformation, and we’ve been fortunate that he has shared with us Capital One’s story each year.
Topo first presented at DOES14, sharing with us the keys to building out automation steps.
In 2015, Topo joined us again to share his insights on how to scale DevOps, cloud, and innovation throughout the whole enterprise. His talk, Banking on Innovation and DevOps, looks at how asking the simple question of ‘how do I automate my build process?’ turned into the seed that would lead to Capital One’s entire DevOps transformation.
In 2016, he presented DevOps at Capital One: Focusing on the Pipeline and Measurement, where he broke down the in’s and out’s of how to measure, improve, and mature your success DevOps.
In 2017, Topo followed up with DevOps at Capital One: Focusing on the Pipeline and Measurement II which evaluated the steps Capital One has continued to take to focus on pipeline and measurements over the last year.
Now, in London for DOES18 — Topo will be taking us even further into this transformation story as he shares with us the next set of challenges for one of the countries largest digital banks as they continue to embark through their DevOps journey.
His presentation this year is “Better Governance – Banking on Continuous Delivery.”
Get Tickets to hear the next phase of Capital One’s DevOps transformation at DOES18 London.
